7 days ago I made a purchase for a MFD visor. The PriusChatShop accepted my credit card number but has not responded with any delivery expectation. I was wondering if any of the moderators could provide an update? Thanks
Thank you for checking on this. While I was checking my 'Unwanted' folder in case I had missed something, I received an email from a Mr. Daredia with the following quote: "Yes we have it" Nothing else. just those 4 words. The purchase did go through. I have an email from Amazon Pay telling me that a charge for $41.95 will appear on my next Visa statement as "AMZ*PriusChat Shop amzn.com/pmts WA." Am I wrong for expecting a delivery estimate, after a week? Thanks.
I just replied to Mr. Daredia' s e-mail, writing: "Great, thanks for letting me know. Any estimates on when it will shipped to me?" Mr. Daredia responded almost immediately, writing: "Yes as soon as u purchase" I don't want to be the 800 pound Gorilla in the room, but I have already purchased this. I think Mr. Daredia is currently disconnected from whatever product infrastructure PriusChatShop has in place. Moderators?
Knowing the history of this operation.......ALL of it......this isn't unexpected. No scam involved, probably, just a LOT of incompetence, which apparently has carried over to the 3rd party supplier too. The moderators or administrator of this site has NO input or control over the store situation. Only the OWNER has any control over that......and for the last couple of years it has looked a lot like "Danny" is a ghost. Posts appear here occasionally from his account but it is impossible to get any kind of verification if he is really dead or alive. I have asked point blank.......and nobody seems to know or is sworn to secrecy. VERY odd situation.
While I'm not giving up on receiving the visor, I am a little disappointed. I thought I was supporting the community by shopping there. Is there any way that the moderators could hang an avatar of Admiral Ackbar on the page?
2 things: Feb. 5, 2019 1. "Danny" did email to say that a weather delay was the probable cause. I thanked him, and relayed the short statement I had received from the other party, Mr. Sameer Daredia. After a couple of days I received a status update that the product has shipped. Feb. 9, 2019 2. I received the visor today in the mail. It is very sturdy and well made. I only have to wait for warmer weather to properly place it and let the Velcro adhesive work (38F today). Thank you, PriusChatShop, for this great product!
