I started a tread and had a link to some photo album, as hard and complicated as it was to insert a picture, now my album no longer exists and the link is dead. Out of all the forums I use, this one takes the cake. Is there a way to insert pictures without having a link to somewhere else, most threads I look at pictures no longer exist, links are dead ends, anyone know whats going on, a thread without pictures of what happened sucks. How to I post pictures, not allowed? Don't tell me to make an account somewhere else to put a picture on this forum.
Use the "Upload a File" option, which you'll see next to "Post Reply". That way the picture stays on Priuschat and doesn't disappear when an offsite link changes or disappears. You can insert a photo into your reply text by clicking on "Full Image", like this:
There could be others ways, but I find the 'copy and paste' method to be the easiest. Just ignore the 'image' upload feature. Find the image you want, then copy the image, then place the flashing cursor where you want to insert the image, then paste the image
Pasting directly in the image (per above message) is easiest. On a windows pc, if you've got an image in clipboard, that's what will paste. Look into Windows snipping tool also, very handy. You can also upload an image; ensure you're in the full editor, not the first level quick edit. Not sure WHY they have that first level editor, it's a pain in many ways.
