Flameout@22. Every participant gets some (TV) money from overall. Liberty can invest that in athletics or academics or however they please.
UVA will not be 'dogged' out this year! UMBC last year was an amazing event. UMBC then lost to Kansas State. Who this year lost to UC Irvine, and the big wheel keeps turning. And next.. Anteaters vs. Ducks? What happened to glorious animal mascots? Or, failing that... Where are the Trilobites?
Brady’s bunch just got a bit thinner. What was his salary this year? Might be able to put that cap space into good use and go after Michael Bennett’s brother and lure him out of “retirement” as a replacement for the Gronk.
I realize this thread is for the mens' championship, but has anyone got any favorites for the womens'? I don't really follow basketball, but I'll be in Tampa next week and somebody's going to talk me into betting on one team or another.
It was actually on ESPN for awhile this afternoon . But still “breaking news”. Much better news than Robert Krafts.
Well he said “favorites” which to me implies a safe bet. If taking Fliers to fleece ones pockets, Baylor is a strong contender .
Yeah that works... like I said, I don't really follow the sport but I'll be working with the most rabid diehard followers you can possibly imagine.
Hard to imagine those types following Women’s college basketball . I’m a pretty serious sports fan (ever play the Trivial Pursuit dedicated to Sports only) and even I struggle to watch . Good luck in Tampa next week.
I only put "men's" in thread title so someone would create the other. Didn't work. Bet? Like always. Look at point spread in previous few games and injury lists.
That was back in the Pat Summit days. So 10 years or so. Ever since (and during) UConn has been the dominant force.
