All, I'm new to Priii. What would the chassis code be for my '19 awd-e? Where would I find it? In front of the passenger seat there's a plastic cover that says pull, what info do I find there? I gave it a tug and it didn't come off; is there a special way of doing this? I don't want to wreck it. Thanks, Dave.
Yes, that's on my invoice from the dealer, as well as in the Service Booklet. It might have been stuck in the front of the Owner's Manual? It has to be somewhere in the paperwork you got with the car.
The model code is ZVW55L-AHXGBA or ZVW55L-AHXHBA, depending on the trim level. It should be shown on the certification label, on the B pillar inside the driver’s door. The VIN or frame number, stamped into the body as a deterrent to auto theft. Yes; the Repair Manual (more info) explains how to remove the front floor caution plate cover: “L9RF1C” is a number used by Toyota Canada. It’s not very useful after you’ve bought the car, since the service information, parts catalog, etc., all refer to the model code, which—along with the VIN or frame number—is how Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan identifies the car. As far as I know, “chassis code” isn’t a Toyota term.
