What is the 'correct way' to charge the 12 volt battery?

    What aspect of charging are you concerned about ?
    You get a relatively small battery charger, like about 4 amps, connect it to the battery and leave it overnight.........or until the charger indicates that it is done.
    Smaller chargers will just take longer.
