Inverters still overheating?

    My inverter failed a little more than a year of the update.

    Toyota knows it will be a problem for a lot of folks since the inverter now has a warranty enhancement program for it.

    My friend has a 2011. His inverter failed while passing a slower car on the interstate. It has 140k.

    The good news, he got a brand new inverter from Toyota!
