Nerding through my owner's manual, I found a mention of a raised-height option; I assume it's for certain countries? -------------------------------------------------- Dimensions and weight Overall length 180.1 in. (4575 mm) Overall width 69.3 in. (1760 mm) Overall height*1 2WD models Without raised vehicle height 57.9 in. (1470 mm) With raised vehicle height 58.7 in. (1490 mm) AWD models 58.1 in. (1475 mm) ----------------------------------------------------- Anyone where where a raised-height Prius is an option?
...and, gas tank capacity on awd-e is smaller: Fuel 2WD models AWD models Fuel type Unleaded gasoline only Octane Rating 87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher Fuel tank capacity (Reference) 11.4 gal. (43 L, 9.5 Imp.gal.) 10.6 gal. (40 L, 8.8 Imp.gal.)
I was assuming that was the case; it's the "raised vehicle height" stat that I'd like to track down, as to where it's an option.
If I had to guess, it's Mexico. "rough road specification". That said, the AWD-e is 0.2" higher than the standard Prius (5.3" vs. 5.1")
