How NOT to sell a Prius?

    I look thru my local ads pretty regularly. And I found this.

    A 2013 Prius Two, 160k. Listed in the ad for 11995, with a NADA of 8525, and KBB of 8125. But look at the picture. I think this is an example of how NOT to sell a Prius.

    Response from Dealer:

    Thank you for contacting us, if you look at our actual website, you will see the vehicle listed at 9991, as shown in the picture. We are open til 6pm today if you would like to come and test drive the vehicle. If there is anything else we can do, feel free to let us know.

    That still doesn’t answer why they think they could ask 3k over KBB in the first place though. LoL

    They seem to lack knowledge about the Prius. I bet whoever buys this car, the regen battery will die withing 1 month of leaving the lot!

    It's up to the buyer to know this. The dealer wants to maximize the sale price on that car.
