As of this morning, my 2012 Prius V is on its third blower motor. This is the fan motor behind the globe box that blows air through the vents. Without it, you have no AC and no heat. Is this a common issue? I can understand once, but I only have 80K miles on it, and like I said it's the 3rd motor now. I'm wondering if I'm going to have the pleasure of changing this out yet again in another year or two.
welcome! no, it is almost unheard of. i think you need to track down the cause. perhaps the circuit board? i would start by having the voltages tested at each speed and compare to specs all the best!
We are snowbirds from Ohio that spend the winter in Florida. We left our 97 Odyssey sit out while we are gone and I had the pleasure of removing my blower motor every spring when we returned. I don't know what it is about the blower wheel and why rodents think that it is an ideal place to winter.
