Plastic covering from glove-box area

    Hello! This piece was preventing the glove box of our 2017 Prius 3 from closing completely. It must have come lose from somewhere in the area underneath the glove box because we removed it from there after taking off the plastic covering from the well where a passebger's legs go. Does anyone know where it belongs and how important it is that we put it back? Thank you!

    It goes behind the glove box. It it the door for the interior air filter. Drop the glove box using the latch/damper on the right hand side and re-install this piece.

    Might as well check the filter to see if it needs to be replaced since you are going in there.
