I'm already behind in my YouTube videos. I'm presuming that the point of the video is that there are no repair or maintenance costs for Teslas in their first years....
And the substantial savings of EV electricity over gas costs. Rightfully, he used a ICE with performance characteristics somewhat like a Model 3 ... pony car vs Model 3 that beats them at the track. Bob Wilson
maybe. but do they come with warnings like tesla? not sure the damage would be the same regarding future performance, if they checked out okay at purchase time
No but cars will be more connected and collect more data. For example, the Gen 4/Prime records all the times the accelerator was fully depressed and the brake pedal fully depressed (rapidly). By getting a printout, you can see how aggressively the previous owner drove.
That really has more to do with the quality of the battery management system. But more information is always welcome. Bob Wilson
I suspect that re-batterying a Tesla will be much cheaper by the time I buy the Android version, and like Bob said, there’s much less increased wear on the drivetrain (presumptive) from track use with things like electric motors and regenerative braking. During my last trip to see relatives in my beloved home state, I actually saw some TSLAs roaming around in the wild east of the Rockies. When one percenters trade them in the market will have to do SOMETHING with them....and like Bob says......more data is better.
