Hi , I am very new here and going to buy a imported Toyota prius from japan . But I really dont know about these cars . so can someone tell me how to check the hybrid system ? how to check the battery is not very old and it is in good and healthy condition . Thanks
welcome! dr prius app but it can only tell you todays health, not tomorrows. what year, how many miles? the only way to know the age of the battery is to open it up and look at the serial numbers is everything on the displays in japanese?

the battery is under the hatch floor, in front of the spare tire tray. the app connects to the car by bluetooth to the obd port under the dash. search here, or google dr prius. you can also use hybrid assistant, tech stream and a couple others i think. there are lots of threads here with specifics.
