Does anyone know of an add on windshield defroster of some kind that works really well? I don't care if it's meant for use in a Mac truck, I'll shoehorn it in there somehow....

(Mods, I realize this is not Gen III specific, please relocate as you see fit)

When I really want my windshield defrosted, I make sure to turn off ECO mode ... ECO mode disables the electric heat elements in the heater, and that can make a big difference in the defroster effectiveness in those first few minutes before the coolant is hot.

I've been sort of intrigued by truck accessories for heating the wiper blades ... kind of like a long narrow strip of rear-window defog stuff, to adhere right down at the base of the windshield where the wipers rest. But I've never taken any further step than just being intrigued.

No reason to go high tech, just keep it simple with
a squigee & foam windshield washer that you wash your windshield with at the gas station... Or alternatively a shamme wrapped around a short-handle broom.
