What kind of headlight bulb is in the 2016 Prius? Is it a simple and standard LED replacement? Or something custom for Toyotas? I was looking through the forum, but I'm not seeing any threads on this. Maybe they just last and never need to be replaced? Thanks, Chris
I finally had a headlight fail on my 2012 Prius v Three with halogen bulbs, I am not really sure you have a v. If you have the Liftback Prius, your headlights my be LEDs. In my 2012 Prius v, there are two types of headlights Halogen and LED Light bulbs Low: H11 halogen bulbs High: HB3 halogen bulbs or HB3 LED bulbs
Life expectancy is longer than my life expectancy - much longer than your PRIUS Gen 4 will last. I believe the bulb may not be individually replaceable, as with many new cars - I could be wrong on that.
Just to clarify (in case someone reads only part of this thread in years to come) - this refers to a PRIUS v, not a Gen 4 which has LED.
