I'm glad my wife has our Prius out of town this weekend. The Hyundai is taking a beating. RIP Professor.
I had a 1984 Bronco II where, somewhere around 16, 17 years, the tilt mechanism at the end of the steering column flat-out snapped in two while I was driving. Looking at it later, it seemed to be some sort of unconvincing pot metal. I could still steer, I just had to sort of also point the wheel the way I wanted it. Bit disconcerting. I don't think I ever even drummed on it that much.
Evan - our mod emeritus is a big fan of the band (until he spoke highly of the group i never gave them 2 thoughts) - but the genre I liked best was often set to the beat of Buddy Rich .... & Neil truly gave him a run for the money in rock. Now ... borh of the 2 greats - RIP. .
Danny Carey: 'Hold my beer' He is my generations equivalent to Buddy Rich, Neil Peart. The dude is a beast. Fourteen years later, it's still one of my favorite drum solos.
No disrespect to Neil. I like him too. Just got triggered by the Buddy Remark. Anyway check this out its pretty cool:
