Noticed the parking steering assist was deleted in models after I bought my 2016's. Does anyone know if the newer Prius' still auto stop before hitting the garage wall????????
I have just bought a bicycle rack and my ICS system is going crazy with it on. How do I turn off my ICS on a 2019 Prius LE? I can’t tell you how much I appreciate an answer. I have spent almost $1000 on this bicycle rack
Use the right D-pad on the steering wheel to control the 4.2” MID on the dashboard. Scroll Left/right until you get to Settings. Enter settings. Scroll down until you see ICS with a green “light” next to it. Press enter. You can toggle it on/off. Then just click “Back” until you exit the settings. Now that’s ICS - the braking part. They can function like regular parking sensors. That’s the “P>>” function. You’ll want to turn that off too if that’s bothering you.
I can’t tell you how much this means to me. I saw that you knew so much about all the Toyotas and I knew you would know! I am so happy. I called several Toyota Service and sales places and they had no idea.
I’m at my car settings but the only thing I see regarding what you told me was the parking sensor on/off I can’t find the ICS anywhere
I figured it out! Thank you so much for your help. So for everybody’s information on a 2019 Prius LE, To turn off the ICS system so you can have a bike rack, you need to go into settings and it is called pre-collision system. You have to turn it off every time you start the car. I can keep my bike rack!
Pre-Collision is different and it's radar-based. That is for speeds above 7mph and it's forward collision only. ICS and Intuitive Parking Assist involve the 12 sonar sensors around the car.
