Last fall, I wrecked my 08. I've finally gotten some money and time to start getting this fixed at a local body shop. While I only rear ended a Camry going about 8-10mph, it only put a small bubble dent in their rear bumper but did around $3,000 in damage to the front end. With Covid-19, a lot of junk yards are closed. What makes things worse is my paint color came out in 2006 and gen II ended in 2009. So I only have a 3 year window of the same color. Finding junkyard parts that aren't rusted or the junkyard is closed is next to impossible. The high cost is due to using a new hood, fender and front bumper, and the fact my car has metallic paint which drives up the cost as well. This car..I paid $6k in cash and it only had 129k miles at the time. The rest of the car is spotless and rust free. So replacing the car would make little sense. It's a great Prius otherwise. Anyway, if some members here could find the following parts for me, I would be more than happy to pay you for shipping, the part, etc. I need some of the splash shields on the front end as well as the fender seal and a bunch of clips, bolts, etc for the bumper cover, splash shields, and fender liners, and also the 3 plastic grille inserts for the front bumper. If anyone has a donor car or cheap junkyard nearby, let me know please

Letting an older HV battery sit for months unused can lead to failure. Are you prepared for that? Good luck!
