DTC P261B is reported by the engine control module (ECM), and the Diagnostic Trouble Code chart under SFI System in the Repair Manual (more info) says that the malfunction indicator (check engine) lamp will be turned on when it is stored. Toyota’s publications don’t say whether this DTC, on its own, would also trigger the master warning light or the “CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM” message.

If you think the car might have a second problem, use a Toyota Techstream diagnostic system to check for DTCs stored in the power management control ECU and other ECUs.
The Repair Manual procedure for P261B, P261C, and P261D explains how to check for wiring and connector problems, before deciding that the engine water pump assembly, ENG W/P relay, or ECM must be replaced.

Alright so here is the answer, yes having this code will show the "check hybrid system". From my own testing the last few day and there are two videos on youtube that verify that.
