Hi. I just upgraded my Android phone and noticed that the Entune app is no longer telling me when the Prius Prime is charged. Is there a setting I need to change to restore this? Or is this a "feature" of the app?
Since I don't own Advanced trim and I have never bothered installing Entune on my car or phone, all of this is just my guess. But, as you may already know, for 2020 PRIME Limited (previous years Advanced), the Prime App that let you connect your phone to the PRIME was deleted. Maybe by updating your phone, you may have inadvertently updated the Entune app to the one that works with 2020 PRIME? That app may not have the PRIME Remote App any more???
I had this issue. Try going into Account->Vechicles->Your Vehicle->EV Settings and turn the push notifications off, save, then go back in and turn them back on.
Sorry, but I am not understanding what you are specifically having problem with Entune Registration. In any case, I suggest to delete the photo showing your name, e-mail and VIN for public to view. That's personal information you would not want to post in forum like here.
That’s not a VIN. The VIN is located at the base of the windscreen or in the door jamb (driver’s side usually).
No. None of the numbers in your pics are VIN. As @Tideland Prius said, you can check it at the base of the front windshield. For PRIME, it starts with JTDK and 17 digit and follows the format shown below. EDIT: All of the above apply to US model PRIME. And maybe to Canada models? But if yours is built for other regions of world, then maybe VIN display and rules may not be same as US model??? In addition to this, even if you enter correct VIN, the Entune registration may be restricted to country where the service is available (i.e. US and Canada?).
Since I have never driven or seen Japanese version of Toyota, I can't be sure. But if you input correct VIN, provided it exists on your car, and still does not work, then it is most likely that you can't register the Entue App at least not the English version designed for North American Toyota vehicles to a Japanese model.
Correct. Entune is for US vehicles only (and certain Canadian vehicles). For Japan, you use T-Connect.
