Had inverter water pump go out again blows fuse dash goes black. Car dead in water. Replaced pump see flow in tank. Disconnected 12v neg. Still have triangle no ready. OBD11 reader says no codes. Erase codes no change
Check the 12v battery state of health with a voltmeter, both under the hood (jump points) and again at the battery in the truck area. Did you purge/bleed all of the air from the inverter coolant loop? It could be the OBD2 reader you're using, is it toyota hybrid compatible?
12.2 v on the 12v have not bled the inverter yet. Do not know on the OBD2 it is an Autel 309 Can you recommend a good hybrid compatible reader?
Many use a 'mini-vci' cable with a copy of techstream (dealer service tech software), though not as good, you can use a OBD2 bluetooth/wifi adapter and a copy or Dr Prius. Here is a link to help find a quality adapter : Hybrid battery diagnostic and repair tool for Toyota and Lexus
You've replace AM2 and the dome fuse, yet the dash is still black? The vehicle won't "ready", but you see fluid movement in the inverter coolant tank?
Dash is not black. All lights, brake Check engine Red Triangle etc. are on.Disconnected 12v for a while no change Replaced AM2 Fuse Not sure what the dome fuse is
Finally got it to go to ready by unplugging the hybrid battery plug on the drivers side and leaving out for 15 min. Now to go get a thorough diagnosti. Thanks for the help.
Maybe it wasn't installed correctly and you installed correctly after your 15 min wait (not necessary, btw). A lot of people forget the third step to slide the handle down vertically until it clicks into the locked position.
