Why does my trip and mpg keep resetting?

    Ok so this is the 2nd time this has happened

    This week I got my car tinted.

    When I picked it up both my trip, avg mpg and miles next to the avg have been reset

    I literally just went into a store and came out and my avg mpg and trio had been reset

    I hit nothing to make this happened and just turned the car on...

    Why is this happening?

    Could be that you have a loose connection somewhere.....maybe at the battery.

    Well since I picked it up and this happened the car has ran over 150 miles.

    I just checked the connection on the battery. Negative called was loose tightened that and positive cable

    Voltage looks fine on the 12V too

    when they tint your windows, they usually leave the car on and run down the 12v. then they jump it, recharge it and give it back to you

    Yes, and.......
    Loose electrical connections are often intermittent.
