Tesla seems big on high-tech, clean dash's and safety. HUDs check all three boxes. So why no HUDs in Tesla cars? Honestly, having lived with one for the last four years, I won't go without one again. It's THAT helpful and THAT advantageous for safety. And, no self-driving systems aren't a substitute. If that were the case, you wouldn't need any sort of speed or other driving feedback. But they do provide quite a lot of that.
Good idea. But remember before the Model 3 went on pre-order...Tesla really didn't think they would ramp this quickly back then. I think they thought that they would have to reduce the cost much faster than they have in order to ramp units this high. So they might have though tof it as an extra expense. They should at least add this to the S/X and new Roadster, maybe an option on the 3/Y Mike
Mine works great! It is cellphone based App that works either in our BMW i3 REx or STD Rng Plus Model 3. Is your’s a flip-phone? Bob Wilson
I assume you lay it on the dash and let it reflect off the windshield? I had such an app long ago and it's really useless compared to a real HUD. First, it's not visible except at night. Second, it doesn't display car information. Finally it means I can't use the phone.
Use an iPad! Bigger HUD display! Of course you shouldn't be using a phone except what you can do via Bluetooth anyway. Mike
Both, Collins a couple years after Sinatra. Both after Glynis Johns, the first person to play Desirée Armfeldt.
