I'm not sure which Hybrid Transaxle the 2013 had - he did say the P710 was on later Camrys. I've asked John if he knows.
@bisco Here's the answer from John: John does another video and talks about 3rd Generation PowerSplit Transaxle - which he describes as: Weber State University (WSU) - Automotive Technology Department - Transmission Lab. A comparison and demonstration of the 3rd Generation Toyota Hybrid Transaxles used in the 2010-2015 Prius family (P410, P510), 2006 - 2017 Highlander HV family (P310, P313), and 2007-2017 Camry HV family (P311, P314) 3rd Generation Toyota Hybrid (eCVT) Transaxles - YouTube
These videos might be too much for most people but I love them. It has taken years to fully understand how Toyota's system works in general. Until now I always had to translate from Prius information and think, okay just like that except bigger/sturdier/more powerful for the Camry. After seeing the video the Camry transaxle is basically exactly what I expected!
He is so clear with his explanation - but you might be right with the sort of person who has trouble working out which end of a hammer is which.
