Does anyone know how the OEM side splitter is installed? Double sided tape, bolt, etc?? Thanks in advance
AFAIK, you need to drill holes on the bottom of the rocker panel plastic mold and must be riveted onto. I don't know how much the dealer charges for the cost, but most body shops can do it cheaper. Also, doable DIY if you have a lift and tools. If you are interested, I have an uninstalled still in a box new OEM side-splitter for sale. PM me if interested.
PM function has not been working on this site for a while. There really isn't any way to privately communicate with other members of the board. It is US$269 MSRP parts 2021 toyota Prius Prime Aero Side Splitter - Black - PT93847161 - Genuine toyota Accessory . I am willing to sell it for half of that price $135 if picked up locally or the shipping cost paid by the buyer. The problem is, from where I am to where you are, the cost of shipping is likely to be higher than the price of the item itself.
^ I’m in northeastern Pennsylvania. What part of New England are you in? Also interested - could pick up if it’s within reasonable driving distance-
What kind of work needed to be done to have both the TRD sideskirt and splitter installed together? I have the sideskirts in a box and was going to order the splitter to install together in the summer Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I am in northern Maine, a bit too far from you. I see many PPs in my neighborhood, so I think there is a market to sell this thing locally, but I have not put ads yet. Too malcontent to sign-up for FB or Craig-list account just for this.
Im interested and can send you a shipping label if you're willing to sell. Email me at jteran12 @ Gmail.com Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
haha figures. Northern Maine! As far as possible. I can get to Connecticut in 90 min if it’s not rush hour - and even to Boston area in 5hours. But of course, Northern Maine. Lol
Yeah, we could meet halfway for both of us in Boston. It is little also around 5 hours from my place. I go down several times a year. I also have traveled on I-80 all the way across PA a number of times. But we were living in MA at that time.
