Update: code P01A1A. My 2012 Prius suddenly stopped working when I was driving on the road, looks like all light on, please see pictures. I slowly drove it to the side road. Now it was towed to my home. It won’t start anymore. I Checked the 12V battery, and I also unplugged the negative of the 12V battery and replugged, but it didn’t work. The 12 battery is only 2 years old.I checked the main fuses which are look good. Finally I got code P01A1A which meets one of the code of ZE3, but I didn't get any recall and mine is 2012 Prius, should my car be covered by ZE3? I appreciate any suggestions.
I think that having it towed to a dealership or other hybrid repair shop might have been a better choice. How exactly did you "check" the 12 V battery ? Did you also check the main cable connections to it ?? At 9 years old with over 100K miles, there could be a LOT of things that might be suspect.
Sounds a lot like when the Gen 3 inverters were failing during operation. All lights on, and only able to drive in limp mode. I believe if the inverter has failed, it might be covered. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
