I see these wheels on a 2018 Advanced and wonder what they are? I saw something similar on a Premium but never saw these on an Advanced. Thoughts?
They're just the alloys without the aerodynamic wheel covers. All Primes have this same lightweight alloy wheel underneath.
So I only feel slightly stupid. Just priced the hubcaps at $400 but I think eBay might be a better option. Thanks!
There are a couple of “dressy” 15” options I can think of. One level of 4th gen Prius has a nice looking rim; @Tideland Prius’s up on the details. Also, the 2012~2015 plug-in Prius had a pretty sweet rim. Both sans plastic covers.
This is the wheel that @Mendel Leisk is talking about. It's a two-tone machine-finished alloy (polished on the outside, with a painted medium grey centre that is the same diameter as the disc rotors). Here's a better real life photo with the grey section more obviously illustrated. This wheel is available as part of the "Premium Convenience Package" on the XLE and Limited trim in the US (power moonroof plus these 15" alloys). It's standard equipment on the Canadian Prius "Technology FWD" trim level. Elsewhere in the world, it's the standard alloy wheel on the Prius PHV. And I assume most of us are familiar with the 2012-2015 PiP wheels.
Do you have a parts number for the two tone handy by chance? I’ve been trying to track these down with no luck.
Might be this: https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-wheel-alloy-4261147450?c=bD04Jm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHMmYT10b3lvdGEmbz1wcml1cyZ5PTIwMjAmdD1saW1pdGVkJmU9MS04bC1sNC1lbGVjdHJpYy1nYXM%3D Poor pic, but description says 2-tone. Copy and paste part no and image search for confirmation.
