Has anyone put factory OEM door edge guards on this beast? The dealer installed supposedly OEM guards very poorly at best (one was hanging loose and the paint chipped). However, they do not look like anything I have ever seen on a Toyota. They stick out slightly on the edges and are not flush mount like all the other ones. Also there is dirt under the front hood window film. This might be it for me for doing anything but oil changes at the dealer. Obviously there was a problem with correct parts and sloppy installation. Dropped my vehicle off squeaky clean and it came back like it was in a wet dirt storm. Thanks
What is a "front hood window film" ? Have you asked the shop that did it about your concerns ? It likely is not possible to have door edge guards be "flush mounted". They HAVE to stick out some.
