Hello everyone I have a 2008 Toyota Prius with 300,000 miles on it I have a main rear seal leak and go through two and a half quarts of oil every oil change I'm wondering if I can add Lucas Oil Stop to my oil change to see if I can slow down the main seal leak? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I wouldn't use any "stop leak" products, in any fluid system. they tend to stop flow in places you don't want to stop flow like: cylinder passages heat exchangers small orifices pumps accumulators etc it's always better to fix the leak properly whether it's a seal or what have you
