Hey all! I’m Joe and I joined awhile ago but have never posted. In September 2019 I got a 2016 Prius 3. My first Toyota first hybrid car, coming from having a 2010 Mazda 6 that had 216,000 miles! I really enjoy my Prius I mean who doesn’t? There’s a couple of things that bother me about like the height for example snd when my car “slips” on man hole covers and my Bluetooth sounds like crap for people I’m on the phone with. I noticed last summer, my first one with my Prius where I can heat them fine but they can’t hear me. It always seems to be in the afternoon, the morning isn’t an issue. Anyway it’s happening again and driving me crazy! But all in all I love my car!! I named him Pete so he’s Pete the Prius I know original! I just wanted to say hi to everyone out here though and look forward to chatting with you all. Here’s a picture of Pete when I first got him. I didn’t think going to Toyota and driving home in the same night in one was going to happen. Take care everyone!! Joe
Hi. Bluetooth first. Make sure your middle vents are not pointing up as this creates wind noise as microphone is by the sunglasses holder. Slipping. By design. It’s the abs/traction control cutting in. Much less than previous models and can be lessened by stickier tyres (rated A).
It’s the weirdest thing only in the summertime my Bluetooth sounds like crap. I was told I could barely be heard so I have to resort to using my AirPods or speaker phone. The vents are usually pointed right at me. Hmmm stickier tires? iPhone ?
