Hello, has there been a recall on the Prius C 2013? My car has been driving really strange periodically, the transmission feels as if it skips a gear, the engine feels jerky at times, acceleration intermittently has a blip in it etc... I thought I received a recall order on my car but I just can't find the information anymore but I believe it was for the Prius and Prius C. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
Nothing came up when I did that, so I'm guessing there are no recalls. Which leaves me to question what I should do with my car behaving in such a poor/jerky manner. Yes I get all my oil/fluid changes done on time with synthetic oil etc, I know how to take care of my car, I'm just feeling like I have a subpar vehicle with the way it's behaving the last while... I have 73,XXX miles on it.
are there any trouble lights on? if so, you must have the codes read to find the problem. if not, you will have to start from square one: when does it happen, at any speed? soft or hard accelleration? ev, hv or both? is it burning any oil, or losing coolant? not much goes wrong with 2013's at 75k, but the egr clogging can be a problem if the c engine has one, i'm not sure. the battery can also go south, but you will have a trouble light
