Hello everyone I have a 2014 Prius V and I recently swapped the engine from a 2018 Prius into it initially I did the 4th gen egr swap with the 3rd gen intake manifold and it went smooth the swap But after driving I realized the 4th gen egr would give issues Bc it operates differently than the 3rd gen egr does…. Is there a write up on swapping in the 3rd gen egr??? Thx!
What are your intake and exhaust manifolds currently, 3rd gen? And exhaust manifold you've heated/bent the pipe going to EGR cooler? Yeah that seems to be happening. IIRC there was one shop, maybe hybrid pit, doing 4th to 3rd EGR swap, but I'm not sure about that. Maybe they didn't work out the bugs either?
