Neither of these is coming to Australia any time soon, which is a shame. Both look good, but I am definitely more drawn toward the Enyaq: I think it has a lovely interior.
The Enyaq seems to be a favourite over the ID.4 I. Europe. I love its details like an umbrella in the door, an ice scraper in the tailgate, and built in “elephant ears” in the rear headrests to rest your head when sleeping.
Yes: there seem to be a lot of people who are very disappointed with the interior quality and switchgear in the ID.4. The Enyaq has actual buttons instead of touchpads. I got a Skoda Superb as a rental car once, in Perth, and it was lovely. It had all those details too, and it was beautifully, logically laid out. Yes, I've had those a lot on planes: I always wondered why cars didn't have them (except in the driver's seat!)
I remember a VW or Audi commercial showing off the umbrella in the door here. I think it was for the Passat.
Škoda - more favorably received than the ID4. Oh irony .... that VW owns so much of the company, now, & back in the day ..... what with nazi Germany enslaving them some 7 - 8 decades ago. But with society being so very very short on memory - not caring to learn or take lessons from history anymore - maybe it doesn't matter anymore. From Wiki; .

Yes. On the other hand, in Japanese school history books, absolutely nothing happened from 1931 until the Americans inexplicably bombed them in 1945. I think the situation started to improve in the mid-2010s, but it's regressing again now. ----- Anyway, back to the subject..... I think Skoda is the only part of VAG that hasn't lost the plot. VWs are supposed to be well-built and sensible; Audis are supposed to be posh; and Seats are supposed to be sporty with some "Mediterranean flair", and all of them seem to be missing the mark, but Skoda is making some lovely cars. Mind you, they're supposed to be the cheaper and nastier brand, and they're missing the mark on that.
