I have a non jbl prius 2011. Wanted to replace dash speakers. I used the guides here and removed one dash speaker. It was wired with only two wires coming in to it. No bass blocker to be seen. This doesn't resemble any of the guides or YouTube videos. I understand it should be wired in parallel with door speaker. Could the wires be split up earlier and this dash speaker just doesn't have a bass blocker capacitor? How should i proceed? Is it the JBL system? If so, it is not wired in parallel with the door speaker, it has it’s own channel from the amp.
No. Its a non-jbl. I discovered the uk system is different in that it has a mini amp under driver. Chair with seperate feed for each speaker.
