I love using Google Maps on my phone and Apple Car Play displays it on the car display. I'd like to have an wireless Apple Car Play device so I don't have to keep the phone plugged in but reviews on those available on Amazon are spotty. Is anybody using a wireless Apple Car Play device they recommend!
It should if the car has Apple Car Play....my wife's 2017 Prius 2 does not have Apple Car play but I'd like to add it on there if I can figure out how. (Software update?) In my Prius, it makes it possible to display my Google Maps from my iPhone on the dash which is awesome!!
This adapter, and others like it, require that your car already have wired CarPlay. It basically converts wired CarPlay into wireless… acting as a proxy.
