I'm not sure what you're meaning The part you circled in red is the vent when you push the correct buttons on the set on the display then air should blow out of that vent cold or hot and that's nothing to do with the floor you put the icons to blow on the floor on the master display now those vents do break. And on eBay you can find one made out of better material for the middle only the one you circled for $24
You see the circle at the bottom of the louvers of the vent moving that will stop air flow out of that vent Make sure that's open look carefully there's an icon on that half circle
