    Quick question:

My 2004 Gen 2 Prius has GPS problem. The further away I drive from home, the more inaccurate it goes.

Does replacing the MFD fixed the problem?

Asking because I can buy one MFD from wreck yard for $150.

Probably not worth it if it doesn't work, which seems likely... And with GPS software coming up on 20 years old it's going to screw you up more than it helps you because lots of roads and intersections have been changed since way back when and any smart phone is not only going to give you way more accurate GPS updates, but real time re-routing that will give you short-cuts around traffic, car accidents, construction, etc.

Cell phone + software + cell phone holder?

You probably already own most or all of that and you won't have to take the dash apart and risk snapping off any of the old brittle plastic clips which hold it together.

If you decide to go ahead make sure you get the correct part # MFD.
