I know it’s mechanical related as it only happens when break pedal is released after stopping. Sounds like a marble being dropped as the speed picks up and stops rather abruptly. I don’t have kids Performance not effected at the moment. Has been on the to do list over a year. And it doesn’t always happen car hot or cold. thanks
Can you get someone else to drive while you try to figure out location of noise? Or is it coming directly from the brake pedal area?
Yes have tried to hear it but the sound is really hard to locate. I know it is coming from the front half of the vehicle only.
After a stop your break calipers are to release and slide back. If the pins are a dry they can squeak whine or make a drop sounds. mine do it every times with a squeak. I just haven’t had time to take apart and relive them. But I know that is what it is. I walked next to the car while my friend drove it. Originally listening for CV axle clinch when turning.
