So the wife's car 2010 solar roof loaded JBL Prius generation 3 bought it about 2 years ago had a bad HV battery in it before I knew any better I got one from a friend of mine that owns a junkyard I put a 2015 battery in the 2010 car the 2015 battery at very low mileage it's working great ever since over the years driving for whoever she drives for she's back the car into people ram the front end of the car very gently into other things in vehicles nothing worth talking about. The ABS lit up the dash a few weeks ago and the lights have been pretty much steadily on the brakes are still working she says they're not the same they seem the same to me but she drives the car everyday this is the interesting part when it rains the ABS lights go off and stay off until it dries up pretty good and the brakes according to her work perfectly during this time and then when it dries up the lights come back on. She's a smart girl I need to query her about how long it takes after the rain stops etc etc just to see what I might think. So am I to believe I need to rip out the tray and start unplugging the plugs on the ABS units on the firewall clean out all the plugs which are weatherproof to begin with and all of that is this really possible I would think if water was getting in the plugs it would cause a short I guess maybe we're getting lucky and it shorting the right pins every time? Seems awfully odd but it's not related to any jolts to the car bumps bottoming out nothing like that this is strictly it rains the ABS lights all go out on the dash the ABS regenerative braking all that seems to be working as new and then at some point it comes back after it dries like in 4 days of rain the light stayed off the whole time and she was out driving in the mess I mean heavy rain.

Just to be clear when we got this car it wasn't very good shape It had been very well taken care of and dealer maintained I even think women predominantly owned and drove it or a lady whatever I mean under the hood is whistle clean everywhere It looks brand new it's ridiculous but that's just what it is so before I start going tearing in the plugs and all that I just wanted to hear what folks might have to say.

Easy fix. Since she smart & ignores the lcd screen while backing up on a solar trim, trade the wife in.

Ex-wife but she's real short barely can see over the steering wheel and now she's old she was a driver and a Domino's store manager back in the day making 90,000 a year sometimes delivery driving but rarely she was a store manager. It seems this is pretty normal for older folks to be backing into the yellow things at the gas station and hitting people not heavy accidents this is a stupid stuff that stop lights because you're fooling with your purse or something I don't know what the hell goes on with folks but she was traded in a long time ago still doesn't matter trade it in or not she still did whatever to the car I mainly trying to figure out why in the rain does all the ABS lights go out in the brakes go back to working perfectly I'm thinking maybe a wheel sensor is getting blasted with water.? But that doesn't make sense because the codes are are for low accumulator pressure I think I'll have to look again she keeps a Bluetooth scanner plugged into the port down there and has a mini version of pretty good software on her phone and knows all the codes and knows how to get them and all that so she's a step in the right direction at least
