My Prius stalls out/Inverter coolant pump

    Hello everyone, I have a 2013 2nd gen Prius. It has stalled out a few times and I see the triangle and the little car with squiggly lines. They turn off when I turn the car off then back on but they dont stay on so there are no codes. I checked the inverter coolant reservoir and there doesn't seem to be any movement. Maybe just very little of that much. From what I've been reading if seems to be the inverter coolant pump that might be or may be going bad. My battery is fine, no issues, charging is fine. Do you think it is the inverter coolant pump that I should just replace?

    There are definitely codes in the car, unless you're low on engine oil.

    I think you made a typo. A 2013 Prius is 3rd gen, not 2nd gen.

    Next time the warning lights come on, do not turn the car off. Connect your scan tool and retrieve the trouble code. Then, you will know how to proceed.
