Compressor makes a loud buzzing noise when I use my AC. Has anyone had this issue and how much did it cost to fix at the dealer? Can’t seem to find anything online for a replacement part.
Well, a loud buzzing noise is what the compressor makes, so the question here comes down to whether yours is louder or buzzier than anybody else's. Have you compared?
It’s not noticeable when you’re in the car but when you’re outside of it it sounds like a leaf blower on high, very noticeable. I’ve never heard this sound before and car was very quiet in EV mode so I’m guessing compressor is going bad.
it is possible. mine sounds like that too, but you can't describe loudness. how long have you owned it?
less than a year, purchased this used and still runs great besides that loud buzzing noise when AC is on
