The Leaf's flaw of passive air cooling for the battery does not apply to the Ariya. It has a grown up thermal battery system.

Last time I drove by the local dealer, they at $5k to $10k discounts on the Ariya windshields. Not on their site, but I'll try to remember to take another glance.
Yeah, they didn't have a base trim sitting in the front when I drove by. When I checked their site today, they had a $47 discount listed. That might cover the annual registration.
i just got an email from a local dealer. ariya engage. msrp $43,750. lease for 18 months $289./mo. plus $2,500. down. if there's no shenanigans, i might consider it to get through the vehicle shortage, if they'll give me a decent amount for the pip, they'll be writing me a check.
