I've spent time searching the forums for the 2010 code C0215 & how to trouble shoot the problem to get to the real issue. Was not able to find an answer to the following question: If I short the 4 & 13 pins with the car off, then turn on the car - the brake, the abs & the skid mark icons flicker rapidly on & off. After removing the short, the lights return to solid on. All this while the car is still in park. It seems to me that if it was the actual left rear speed sensor it would clear the code & turn off the icon lights & not come back until the car was put in drive and driven. At that point it would get signals from the other 3 wheels except the one with the defective sensor & then return the code & the icon lights. Is my logic & understanding correct? I was going to buy the hub & have someone replace it. But after seeing that happen, does it mean the sensor is not the problem? If it's the module or the wiring then replacing the hub & sensor is not going to fix it.
Why would you expect it to clear the code, or do anything other than what the repair manual or blink code how-to page says it does?
