I am curious if anyone has swapped the body colored handles with black handles? Since the Prius has black mirror covers, black handles might look great.
It's a bit cost-prohibitive. The keyless entry sensor is in the handle, so I think you're looking at $200 for a keyless entry door handle and $70 for a non-keyless handle(LE/SE passenger door). I went the other way and color-matched my mirror covers. About $60 for a second set of mirror covers, then about $120 to have them painted at a body shop. Should be a little cheaper to paint if you don't have white or red(those are the 3-stage paint colors). You don't absolutely need the second set of covers, but it meant I could keep driving the car while the second set was getting painted.
I'll agree with the above. You're better off plasti-dipping to see if you like it first. Easy to remove.
