The ones that show up most prominently in a plain google search seem to be things he has published in Academic Questions, a journal of the National Association of Scholars, which has been publishing on somewhat consistent themes since its founding in 1987, according to this timeline: History | NAS
Alas, I remember when Musk was more popular that Taylor Swift, and adored by a fan-base that was only half as radical as hers is. Swift herself knows a thing or two about being a spiteful ex-lover!!
Not necessarily. Thomas Alva Edison was an American inventor and businessman only in the historically distorted American Hollywood version..... In the real world he was more of a businessperson who happened to be an inventor, or something that you do to the end of your finger when you want a small sample of blood - depending on whom you ask. I would strongly recommend reading TWO biographies: Thomas Alva Edison. George Westinghouse Jr. THEN decide which 'gilded age' inventor is more deserving to be xeroxed. Interestingly enough, one of these two may or may not have fleeced a little known Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futuris named..................................Nikola Tesla. For some perspective, perhaps also read a book called: 'AC/DC: The Savage Tale of the First Standards War' which, among other things tells the tale of an animal mass murderer also listed above (whose victims include "Topsy" the elephant!)
these posts from musk aren't helping my stock portfolio. he's not always wrong, but his presentation is.
Henry Ford had similar 'fuzzy' thinking about Jews. I've known and worked with a lot of engineers whom it is better to not discuss religion, sex, or politics. Bob Wilson
agreed. but ford (and others) didn't have x accounts. one actually had to ask him his views. still, finding a way to increase sales and/or margins will cure all ills. i hope he can do it.
Actually Ford had a newsletter he sent to the dealers with the understanding one would go with each sold car. Bob Wilson
I don't detect Ford's anti-semitism in Elon. But more his response to being provoked: anti-rich - Senators Warren and Sanders along with Delware Chancellor McCormick. Add a long list of public and private citizens who believe Elon's success needs to be 'taxed' or 'redistruted' or otherwise seized. petroleum advocates - oil companies and gear heads who advocate drill, refine, and burn. non-technical "environmentalists" - those who glue themselves to roads, slow walk in traffic, and claim EVs are worse than ICE vehicles. short sellers - stock manipulators and MBAs who try to steal the wealth of others by lies and trickery. Far from perfect, Elon has children by three women yet claims his kids and does what he can to give them a good life. One born male decided to be trans and hates him. Raised in South Africa by an abusive father, Elon fled to Canada with his brother, mother, and eventually came to the USA where they excelled. Personally, I believe resentment at Twitter's arbitrary, inconsistent moderation along with abusive press stories led him to impulse buy Twitter. His first action was to fire the incompetent staff and bring a handful of his coders to fix the Twitter technical flaws. Those who liked the earlier Twitter "policies" lost their minds (or what they call minds even the ones I like) and became hatefully resentful of the new Twitter/X. As I shared from his recent Twitter/X post, his lack of biology training and well earned paranoia (even paranoids have enemies) has made him subject to a lot of made up hokum. His Aspergers doesn't help which reminds me of an Aspergers joke: . . . a guy walks into a psychiatrist's office and says, hey doc, my brother's crazy! He thinks he's a chicken. Then the doc says, why don't you turn him in? Then the guy says, I would but I need the eggs. Bob Wilson
Explaining a joke seldom works: . . . Elon's brother walks into a psychiatrist's office and says, hey doc, my brother's crazy! Elon thinks he's an engineer. Then the doc says, why don't you turn him in? Then he says, I would but I need the EV cars, rockets, satellites, space capsules, tunnels, robots, artificial intelligence, and direct brain electrodes. "Twitter/X" deliberately omitted as either before or after Elon, Twitter/X has no value to me. Bob Wilson
I think you’re employing selective memory. A complete list of elons controversial x’s would be enlightening imo. Like trump, there are so many, we tend to forget
Found this, Elon’s mentioned at the top of the “advocate” pull-down. Simulation hypothesis - Wikipedia This I find interesting, was in my Google News: Could consciousness all come down to the way things vibrate? – Association for Psychological Science – APS
