Have a virtually brand new Nexcell Lithium battery pack v2.5 for sale in Orlando area. I installed and used it for 3 days, worked perfectly and car felt great, then my inverter blew. The shop I towed it to (battery install shop) had no idea what to do with a lithium battery so they replaced both the battery and inverter, and while the car is driving now, I am not going to bother to reinstall the Lithium battery pack. My loss, your gain. All cells tested good on voltage. I paid over $2,200 dollars for the pack last month (April 2024), listing for $1900 and willing to drive within an hour of my place to deliver/meet up. I live in Orlando next to UCF.
So the Toyota dealer honored the warranty on the inverter even though there was an aftermarket lithium battery installed. That is good news if so.
Oh, if only . I had no warranty on the inverter as it was oem, and the recall didn't affect my year Prius, so I had to cough up a lot more money than I'd like to replace it.
