Had a look through the threads and haven't found anything touching on this issue - I'm sure it's not an isolated PIP issue, but every time I start up my car and leave, there's this weird noise that I can't put my finger on. Goes away after a few seconds to a minute. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. There is also a bit of a squeak from the brakes going at a slow speed but doubt this is related. And there's a bit of a clunk when going over bumps - not sure if this is related either. Thanks!
The EV ghost noise thing? No, definitely not that. I'm thinking it's something rubbing in the rotor or a bushing
opps : see edit do you know - either - what to look for in the brakes to determine if they are in need of service Or a mechanic you trust and will explain to you what will be done to the car if the brakes really are in need of service. edit: when did these noises start. Is there brake service listed on any of your service invoices recently?
