This might be a waste of text but I need to ask if anyone has tried this... My brother has a 2011 with 15" wheels so the warranty part is 04008-11147 for the booster assy. I have in my possession a 04008-11347... has anyone tried swapping part for other years? I have it because at my old dealer, I was an MDT and another tech ordered and put in a 15" wheel booster (11347) for a '12 prius and it had 17" wheels. it worked except around sharp turns it would activate the abs system. So we put in the correct and I kept the old one. Cool story. should I YOLO and give it a shot? any thoughts from anyone?
So you need to sell it to someone that meets that criteria. Rather than try and swap it on another car that must be the reason the 17-in wheel vehicles have a different part number I guess it makes sense.
