2022 Prius XLE rear brakes

    Sorry if this is a post that I searched and couldn't find, computers are not a strength. Its time to change my rear brakes on my 2022 Prius XLE and I wanted to ask about how to set the electronic parking brake into maintenance mode?

    I thought the ‘22 had a cable parking brake.

    You say "it's time": due to pad thickness, rotor condition, or? What's the miles?

    AFAIK it's similar to 3rd gen, and yeah, no electronic parking brake. There's a link in my signature, something about rear brake drag. Has some general info on dealing with Prius brakes (without popping caliper pistons or invoking codes), plus some rear brake caveats. (on a phone turn it landscape to see signatures)
