Hello, I been dealing with this issue for a few weeks now. The issue i am running into is that when i accelerate the car the car jumps out of drive and it slowly decelerates to a complete stop. On the dashboard the D (Drive) disappears and nothing appears there. If i put the car into park (p appears on dashboard) and back to drive (d there) it takes a bit to accelerate but then after a few seconds it works like nothing happen. This happens more when i am accelerating from a complete stop, but it has happened too when i am driving down the road. If anyone can help it will be great. There is no engine code. I already swapped the pedal sensors, was first recommendation.
What scanner is reporting this? There are many cheap scanners on the market that do not know how to ask all of the ECUs in a Prius for a report, so depending on the problem type they can report "no codes" when in fact there are some- they just don't know how to even ask.
