Thanks for sharing, I am interested in getting this for my FWD 24 prime. Question - the images are confusing on Cusco's website. They sell the swaybar which doesn't show that it comes with end links, and they list a separate end link upgrade kit thats more expensive than the swaybar itself. Are we supposed to buy both or does the swaybar bolt on without the optional end links?

I am also interested if anyone has any experience, I plan to add one and possibly some of the underside braces.

Here is the rear brace, but they also have a couple other ones that are mid body or towards the front.

Never mind. I thought there was a conflict with a muffler in one picture, but I realized the car in one of the photos had an aftermarket exhaust.

I am traveling and not near my car, otherwise I would put it up on the lift and answer this for myself. Please bear with me.

Does a 24 prime have a factory rear swaybar?? If so, does anyone know the diameter? Is the Cusco bar just a beefier bar (25mm I believe)?

If the answers above are yes, then that would explain why the cusco bar does not come with end links as we would just reuse the factory end links.

    Yes and 20.9mm in diameter.

Sarah always does really good inspections of the suspension in her reviews.

You really should only need the end links if you lower the car. Even then the stock are fine unless you are going extremely low.

Will just a rear sway bar and nothing else aftermarket void the suspension warranty?

No. The only thing this would void the warranty on is the original rear sway bar, which would be removed. At most they may try to void a warranty on the end links if they failed, but honestly they are very cheap and there are a lot of options for Corolla hatch and C-HR that are aftermarket upgrades, so I wouldn’t sweat it at all.

Interesting question about sway & chassis bars... I look forward to co-member comments.

My .02 comments are that, personally, I would add all the chassis stiffeners bars I could find.
These stiffeners IMO would help in many areas, including vibration, yet not disrupt sway, dive, etc of the OEM design feeling.
    Now the sways are different.
One aspect is that a stiffer rear sway bar will reduce front corner dive when entering a corner while braking.
That may be the essence of the OP question... how do sway bars improve handling (lap or fun) time?
I would also speculate that adding chassis or sway are true bolt on and do not have an interference with any other OEM parts... perhaps a second part of the OP question?

Great question, again I look forward to co-member comments.

Interesting that the Prime and FWD models list different rear bars. Maybe the Prime bar is a little beefier due to the extra battery weight? I'd be willing to be they are the same dimension with the exception of the mounting bushings and possibly are interchangeable? I don't know what the battery looks like on the Prime so I am just guessing here.. The AWD bar on the other hand has an entirely different shape to go around the drive unit. I pretty much gave up hope on finding a rear bar for my car.

We'd need people to measure the diameter of those FWD and Prime rear bars, and confirm the shape but the Prime bar could be a possible cheap upgrade for the FWD people? That would also mean the Cusco rear bar would work on the Prime.

I upgrade the end links too. OEM can fail after upgrading the SB
